Testimonial from 5 year client Andrea Powell:
"I’ve been running for the past five years or so and I can honestly say that, before I met Pezz, I ran for exercise. Now – four marathons, plenty of half marathons, and many other races later –I run because I love it. Pezz has been an amazing running coach and friend. She truly cares about her clients and how they perform. Her workouts can be brutally tough, but she seems to know what I can handle better than I do. Her joy in running is infectious. She constantly makes me want to be a better runner; I find that the very first person I want to talk to after a race is Pezz. And that’s because my accomplishments are also hers. I know that she’s proud of the runner I have become. I can trust the workouts that Pezz gives me because I know that she’s done them herself (albeit much harder versions). But she makes my physical health a priority and never pushes me to run through an injury. I appreciate that Pezz has perspective when it comes to how running fits into my life. Her approach to helping a runner improve is what I would call “cautiously aggressive”. She will never push you into a distance that you’re not ready for (and in fact will suggest that you master some shorter distances before tackling the longer ones). But she will make sure you are aptly trained for the distance you are training for. I’ve never felt unprepared going into a race. I have Pezz to thank for that. I also have Pezz to thank for many PRs and many, many miles under my shoes. She inspires me daily to run better and train harder. She is a wonderful running coach but she‘s more than that. She’s really a partner because she’s just as invested in my success as I am. That’s about as good as it gets!"
